- Select 'Appearance' then 'Colors'
- Under the heading 'When a web page provides its own colors and background' check the option next to 'Use my chosen colors, ignoring the colors and background image specified'
- Click 'OK' to close the 'Preferences' box.

- Click 'OK' to close the 'Preferences' box.
