What We Do

The North Tees Unit is based at the University Hospital of North Tees. It was established in August 1982, and provides access to a wide range of Medical Physics services to the patients of North Tees NHS Trust and local General Practitioners, current comprising a population of 267,500 people.

Services

• A comprehensive nuclear medicine service
• A urodynamics service for the Departments of Urology and Gynaecology
• Mr. Paul Webb co-ordinates the Technical Aids Service for the Cleveland area from the department
• A clinical interface to the wider range of facilities and services provided at Unit and Departmental level.

The Unit has close links with local clinicians and a number of join research projects are currently either in progress or in development.

Academic Appointments:

Mr. Webb is a Specialist Lecturer in Ultrasonics and Forensic Medicine at Teesside University.
