Philip Langley from the Freeman Unit won this year's J. R. Beard Travel Award from the IKE. Philip then presented his research into cardiac repolarisation measurement, a project which is funded by the British Heart Foundation, at the Computers in Cardiology meeting in Hanover. This gave him the opportunity to meet researchers from around the world.
