The numbers of nuclear cardiology tests have increased dramatically at the RMPD unit at West Cumbria Hospital. This is in line with the substantial development of cardiology services in West Cumberland. A new innovation is the introduction of an automatic blood pressure monitoring system which checks the well being of patients during stress testing.
